The Shotokan Karate Club of Maryland (SKCM) is a martial arts club that teaches traditional Shotokan karate in Randallstown, MD. Our late chief instructor and founder, Sensei Najib Amin, taught karate in the Baltimore area for 60 years. His son, Farid Amin, is now the chief instructor and is dedicated to continuing the tradition of
karate-do.
Everyone is welcome at the dojo. We have classes for children, men and women, and women-only. Our members are a true melting pot of society: we have medical doctors, electricians, college professors, and stay at home parents. We have members as young as 7 years old, and members who are in their senior years.
You are never too old to give it a try!

ADULT CLASSES
Exercise mind and body
Karate training is an excellent form of exercise and a great stress relief. A karate class is a challenging full-body workout that is second to none. Ages 13+ are welcome!
KIDS CLASSES
Fitness, Focus, Fun
Children are welcome to begin training at the age of 7. Martial arts training helps children build their character, work on their mental focus, and stay active. Beginners can start at any time.
WOMEN-ONLY CLASSES
Tailored to you
Lead by a female instructor, this class is designed to inspire and encourage our female members. All women are welcome, as well as children 10+.
